Epoxy MIO High Build Polyamide based

Micaceous Iron Oxide pigments offers high shock load protections ( Impacts). MIO Epoxy
coatings acts as a intermediate between finish coat and primer coatings. These coatings are used
in heavy structures, Marine application, coastal corridor areas and many more..

Clean the metal surface by performing the Sand blasting on the metal surface and make the surface free from oil, grease or any other foreign materials before applying Farbe Industry Red Oxide metal Primer.

(B) Adequate ventilation must be maintained.
(C) Explosion proof lights & electrical equipment.
(D) Non-Sparking shoes & tools for workers in area.
(E) This product contains flammable materials. Forbid all flames, smoking and welding in work area.
(F) Avoid breathing of vapor, contact with skin or eyes. If product comes in contact with skin or eyes, wash thoroughly with water and obtain medical attention.

Heat Resistance: can be used on heat surfaces up to 230 C
Surface Preparation and Applying Procedure
Surface of the metal have to clear properly with a process of sand blasting to remove the dust particles,
grease, oil or any other foreign particles on the metal surface. Now mix the Base and Hardener Which
is supplied in 4:1 Ratio( Base: Hardener) and Apply to the metal surface.

Film Thickness will depends upon the coverage Achieved
Dry film thickness (DFT): 100-120 microns (Depending upon Solvents used as mode of apply)
Drying time
Hand Drying / touch Drying is 2-3 hours
Hard Drying / Recoat is: 6-10 hours
Coverage Capacity 4-5 Sq m/ Liter

Pot Life : 6-8 Hrs
